Trey McIntyre Project at the MOAFL
Join us at Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale for a performance by the Trey McIntyre Project, a contemporary ballet company founded in 2004 to nurture, support and produce work by one of the world’s most vibrant choreographers, Trey McIntyre. Dance performance and lecture followed by wine and cheese.

Tour of New World Symphony building and Open Rehearsal
Enjoy a day in Miami to experience the newly designed New World Symphony building designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry followed by a rehearsal of A Nordic Odyssey and lunch at Prelude.
8:45 am Meet at Northern Trust on Las Olas to board a bus provided by Northern Trust and go to Miami
10:00 am Rehearsal Performance
11:00- 11:30 am Tour of the new building
1:00 pm Lunch on the terrace at the new ‘Barton G’ restaurant Prelude”
Enjoy watching the rehearsal for A Nordic Odyssey, a sold-out concert featuring Scandanavia’s finest in a spectacular performance. New World Symphony Fellows will be led by Finnish conductor Osmo Vänskä, music director of the Minnesota Orchestra. Mr. Vänskä is renowned for his compelling interpretations of the standard, contemporary and Nordic repertoires. Repertoire will include Aho: Minea, Sibelius: Violin Concerto, and Nielsen: Symphony No.4, “The Inextinguishable”.

Miami Beach, Florida, will host the 10th edition of Art Basel Miami Beach, the most prestigious art show in the Americas. More than 260 leading galleries from North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa will take part, showcasing works by more than 2,000 artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.
